For "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God... and are freely justified through faith in Christ Jesus" (Romans 3:23-24). Please, do not stumble at the lowly Words of Scripture read and preached here. Such is the power of God for the salvation of all who believe (Romans 1:16ff). Nor, we pray, will you stumble at Christ Himself; nor, we pray will you stumble at those others whom God has brought here today to be "born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God" (I Peter 1:23).
